The Nature Intelligence Unit has it's first mission and we want to engage as many people in the discovery process. Our initial focus is on purposeful and playful participation with the possibility of building deeper and wider intelligence networks around the changing state of nature.

How can we use all our extraordinary innovation in culture and technology to participate more meaningfully with stuff that truly matters e.g the health of the biosphere that supports us and all life?

The NIU plans to grow in an open networked way, at this moment it needs some short term comms/engagement tactics and assets to help it grow. What could we do to kickstart momentum around the NIU mission ?
One of our key focus areas in this phase is local state of nature stories. What can we do to understand more about what nature looks and feels like at a local place based level through the eyes and ears of real people in real places ?
